Jewish Comics Library of Seattle
We partnered with the Jewish Comics Library of Seattle to create a social media ad campaign that would be fun, informative, and bring new readers into the library. The Jewish Comics Library of Seattle is a non-profit dedicated to showcasing comics and graphic novels that are written by Jewish authors or focus on Jewish themes.
We told the story of the Jewish Comics Library of Seattle through the lens its founder’s genuine love of the subject matter, and we took artistic inspiration from traditional comic book style. In this three-minute long, horizontal, non-profit profile, founding director Jeff Triestman—accompanied by his dog, Julius—shares why he started the Jewish Comics Library of Seattle, the history of Jewish comics, the importance of Jewish art, and how the public can experience the library for themselves.
The social media ad campaign also included three vertical short-form videos promoting the Jewish Comics Library, as well as a professional photoshoot of the library on location. A selection of these images can be seen intercut with the footage from our interview. We had an amazing time shooting this video with Jeff and Julius, and we would love to make a video like this for your non-profit or small business!
